FORESTRY.

The usual quarterly meeting of Court Enterprise, A.0.F., was held on Tuesday evening at the court-room, Carroll's Family Hotel, George street, a large number of mombers being present, Tho officers and members of Court Pride of Dunedin and Excelbior paid official visits in large numbers. During the evening theD.O.R., Bro. John Melville, presented, on behalf of the United Otago District, toP. D.C.R. Bro. J. G. Butler a Bplendid writing desk and a P.D.C.R.s neok ribbon as a mark of eßteem for the able manner in which he had carried out his duties during his three years' term of offico in the district. Bros. Woodland and Melville were duly reelected delegates to Friendly Societies' Dispensary Coramitteo for tho next twelve months. P.O.R. Bro. 0. J. Wilson presented to the court a photo group of the officers who had held office during the last six months, and for the kindness he had received from officers and members during his presidency of the court. A hearty vote of thanks was accorded toP.C.R. Bro. Wilson for his handsome present. One new member was initiated and one proposed.
