The Queen has conferred commissions on the following soldiers, viz,;—J. \V. M. Wood, of the Ist Royal Dragoons, who is promoted to the rank of second lieutenant in the regiment; Quartermapter-sergeant E. Heymer, of the 16th Lancers, appointed quartermaster; and Color-sergeant G. £. Vox, of the East Lancashire Regiment, promoted to the rank of second lieutenant in the Leicestershire Regiment,
