The appeal made by the Crown against the decision of the Magistrates who dismissed the charge preferred against Mr Sullivan, M.P., in Dublin Police Court, Was heard to-day in tho Exchequer Division of the Irish High Court of Justice, After hearing argument on both sides, the Court granted the appeal. The presiding Baron, tn delivering judgment, stated that the case against Mr Sullivan must be re-heard, on the ground that the Police Magistrate acted wrongly in dismissing the charge in the lower Court.
