Mr T. Glendlnlng. on behall of himself and Mr Doble, then offered 1,7,600 for the entate, the stock being valued at Llo,7ooahd the book debts atLB.OOO; paj merit to be in bills extending over fifteen months, without interest. Tbe chairman explained that the
sum offered was equivalent to about 8s lOd in the &. After dismission, it was decided that, the offer he declined, and that tenders be invited for the estate.
