KAIKORAI SCHOOL.

TO THE EDITOR. Sir,— Learning accidentally this morning that a meeting of ox-pupils of Mr M‘Laohlan ia to bo hold to morrow evening in the Roslyn Council Chambers, I would like to know if it is to be confined entirely to those ex-pupils who will support Mr M‘Lachlan and the actions of a section of the School Committee, or whether it will bo open to all ex-pupils. As it ia more than probable the former —judging from ths way in which it is being got up, and being exactly in accord with the way in which a, certain section of the Committee carry on their business—l would respectfully warn the residents not to be misled, or to take into account any resolutions that may bo carried at this meeting. As everything this section of the Committee has done will not stand _ looking into, it is not unlikely they will by this means try another of their little manoeuvres to blind the public and the Education Board. If, perchance, this meeting will be open to “ all ” ex-pupils, I would advise all who possibly can to roll up and get an insight into the working of the noble Chairman of Committee and his jubilant crew of three. Without trespassing further upon your space, I would merely urge the residents of the district to attend the meeting in full force on Friday evening, and show their appreciation of the stand the Education Board have taken, and their utter disgust at the questionable doings of the pugilistic four. Now is the time, parents. Assert your rights. You have fought for years for a competent man to teach your children. One last blow, and you conquer.—l am, etc,, AN E x-pupil. Roslyn, November 2,
