A NEW CHURCH.
The new Catholic Church ef St. Leonards, in the course of erection for some time past, is now ready to be opened. Tho Ohpfcb, whifh occupies r a prominent on one of tho sjopes at Burked overlooking the harbor, i« a necft'-tookihg a tincture fifty-two feet long by twenty-five feet in width. It has porch and Vestry, ajmctpery, choir-loft, and all other church appurtenances complete, and will hold 2QO people. Mr P. W. Laing was the architect, and Mr J. R. Madsen the builder, while the ground and paths were laid out by Mr W. J. Carey. Tho new church, which is to be dedicated to St. Leonard, of Fort Maurice, will be opened on Sunday, No* vember 6 (the first Sunday in the month), by the Most Bev.
