The amount of revenue- collected at the CustomhOUiC Oil c'e&Vvd to-day tor consumption, woa L1,290r28 9d. At a meeting of the directors of the Colonial Bank of New Zaaland, held to-day, Mr E. 3. Spenue was appointed to fill the vacancy caused by the resignation ot Mr J. M. Ritchie, now on a visit to England. Mr M. Pym offered for sale to-day the Otagp Harbor Board lea«es, with the following results : Rattray street block, section 24, subdivision 2 (area, 35 polos, 139 ft frontage), was purchased by Messrs B. and A. J. Park, at tho annual rental of L 45; half section 45, St. Andrew Btrcet, was sold to O. E. Blacker, at annual rental of L 10; a section opposite to the Gasworks, on the Anderson Bay real, was sold to Mr W, C. Kennedy at Ll3 10s per annum. MINING NOTES. The Reefton battery returns for the past week were-.-Globe, 2980z of amalgam from 170 tons of stone ; Walhalla tibuters, 4470z of amalgam from 98 tons of stone.
