Sugars are moving steadily into consumption, but quotations remain unchanged. Tbe Woosung arrived to-day from Foochow with the first shipment of new season's teas. Importers have been liquoring the samples the last day or two, and generally report that although the leaf Is scarcely so good as last yeai's. quality is if anything hotter. In fruits, sultanas oontinue in short supply, and readily b'ing 6d; currants aro also firm at Wu. The demand for kerosene has been sustained. We hear of the sale of 3,000 oases Noonday, besides further smaller parcels of other brands. These sales arc all in execution of orders from Australia, and as stocks are now within roasoualilo compass improved rates may be lcoked for. Patna rice has met with some inquiry. Sales of small lots are passing up to L2l. The revenue of the Oamaru Harbor Board for the past six months exceeded the revenue of the corresponding period of last year by LI ,000. It is estimated that the year's revenue will yield an increase of LI.OOO. THE LONDON MARKETS. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agenoy Company (Limited) have received the following telegram from their London oflice, dated 29th Inst : " Tallow : Market irregular; inferior mutton is In demand, but medium to prime is neglected; good mutton ii worth 22* 31 per owt, good beef is worth 21spercwt. Frozen Meat: Market quiet; Canterbury mutton is worth 83d per lb; Canterbury lamb Is worth s\d per lb."
