The gems dedicated to the months are i January, jacinth or hyacinth; February, amethyst; March, bloodstone or jaspar; April, sapphire or diamond ; May, emerald ; June, agate 1 ; Julyj cornelian; August, sardonyx or onyx ; September, ' chrysolite; October, opal or beryl; November, topaz; December, turquoise or ruby. There will -be no unusual festivities: in Sydney on the occasion of the Jubilee.
