“L. A. BsßEsrOßn” complains of latrikinism being rampant at King street north, and of damace being done to bis premises. Wo have forwarded his letter to the police. " r. M‘F.”—We have made inquiries of the Chief Surveyor and City Surveyor, but neither officer is able to give any definite information os to the difference between the present level of tho centre of the Octagon and its original level. There are plans in the Survey Office showing tho original level, As It was first cut down by day labor, under tho Provincial Government, perhaps some ex officer ot the Provincial Government days can supply the information desired.
