THE HIGH SCHOOL.
TO THE EDITOR. Sir, —You report that the breaking-up of the High School is to take place on the 18th and 19th December. Is this a mistake? The examination for scholarships is to begin on the 17th. Many of the competitors are pupils attending the High School, and cannot be in two places at one time. Possibly the Board of Governors might ordain that the breaking-up will take place on the 15th and 16th, which, so far as I can see, would suit everybody.—l am, etc, CD. Dunedin, November 27.
