FAIR OF ALL NATIONS.

When one of our representatives visited the Garrison Hall this morning great prepations were being made for the opening of the Fair of All Nations, Of course, all the arraugements were far from being complete, but sufficient had been done to indicate their extensive nature, and that no pains were to be spared to make this new scheme to raise funds for the Anglican churches successful to the utmost degree. Under the gallery of the hall apartments have been constructed for the accommodation of goods most peculiar to the different nations to be represented, and the painter's brush has been utilised most effectively in appropriately decorating the stalls. Some of the goods to be offered for sale were already displayed, and they seem to be of a superior quality and wpJI worth buying. The hall was otherwise attired in a most attractive fashion, and with the representatives of the nations at their posts we doubt not that a pretty scene will bo presented. The following is a list of the stalls and stall-keepers:— St. John's (Roslyn).—Swiss Stall: Mesdames Kerkham, Wright, Kessler, Misses Roynolds, Nellie Robs, Pilkington, Nevill, Pettit, Bullen, Ettie Green, Talbot. Refreshment Stall: Mrs Fisher, Misses Baron, Rait. China and Japan : Mesdames Mander, Gillow, Churton; assisted by the following young todies : Misses Irvine (Gina), Mackintosh iMorital), H. H. Tcwslcy (Haru), Churton (Kiku), Tower (Haua). St. Peter's (CavershamY—Spanish Stall: Mrs Pottit (president of St. Peter's Guild), assisted by Mesdames Robinson and Easther, Misses Kate Brodrick, Dod, K. Dod, Chalrner, Duncan, Black, Kerens, S. Weldon, Armstrong, Kcmpthornc. In connection with the Spanish stall there will bo a doll's stall in charge of Miss Brodrick. Scotch Stall: Mesdames Ronaldson and A. L. Beattie, assisted by Mi-sea Forreßt Grant, Kate Grant, JD. Duncan, Ronaldson, Allen, A. Stronaoh, F. Stronach, Harrison, Glover, Gorn. Refreshment Stall: Mrs Ghalmcr.

St. Paul s (Dunedin).— Mesdames Edwards, Fowell, J R Joucs, Statham, Misses M. Alien, Cargill, A. Cargill, Collinson, A. Collinson, F. Jones, M. Jones, Murison, Spooncr, Statham, Watson, Weldon. Refreshment Stall: Mrs Spcnce, Misses C. Haggitt, A. Mackenzie. Tho ladies will wear French costumes. Tho " tide shows" provided by this parish will be a French play, and tableaux vivantß. AH Saints' (Dunedin).—Old English and Italian Stalls: Meidames Cargill, president (Italian), Ritchie, vice-president (Italian), White, secretary (Italian), Chapman, hon. member. The Fair will be opened at 7.30 p.m. by a procession of the national groups, and afterwards His Excellency tho Governor will deliver an opening address. The "Roger de Coverley" will then be danced, and will be followed by a Swiss dance by St. John's children, Master Charles Churton and Miss Hilda Gillow representing the bridegroom and bride. At 9.15, a French play will be enacted in the smaller hall upstairs by ladies of St. Paul's parish, and an extra charge will be made to see thiß.
