MUNICIPAL.
West Harbor. —This Council, at their meeting last night, considered a letter from Mr J. A. Connell, who, on behalf of Mr M'Kenzie, asked the Council to undertake the formation of a road - lino near St. Leonards. Mr M'Kenzie was about to erect a house there at a cost of about L 1,200, and was willing to lend the money at a small percentage to make a road-line to his section. The Council decided that they were not in a position to undertake this work at present.— Finance and Works Committees were appointed. ______________
