."•:.-. ,vTOTBBK)ITQB. Sia,—Will you kindly allow me to make use; of your paper to invite all who may care to Inspect the little Orphan Home, now completed, at Bishopsgrove, to do so on Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday, of Christmas week, between the hours of twelve and six. No charge will be made for admission, but the promoters, will thankfully receive donations, for which purpose a box 'will be found In the Orphanage. '- Fully L2oO is still required, in order to pay for and furnish the building. On Friday (Holy Innocents' Day) there will be a short religions, service for, the dedication of the Home at three o'clock in the afternoon, at which I hope to see many present; there will then be an offertory for the building fund. Persons will be welcomed to hold picnics in any part of my grounds on any of the days mentioned, Special arrangements will be made for the dedication day, and we should be particularly pleased to see the families of the working classes. Painful experience obliges me to request that visitors will kindly abstain from pluoking ferns or making fires within reach of the bush. The enjoytaent o£ others ia greatly destroyed by thoughtlessness in these respects.—! am, etc., S. T. Dckedin. Danedln, December 22. P.S.—I may add that Inmates are to be received the first week in the New Tear.
