PARIS, December 20. Latest intelligence from Toncpin reports that Yoeduc has assumed the title of King of Anam, with the support of a large proportion of the inhabitants. His succession is, however, strongly opposed by the remainder of the Anamese, and much excitement prevails at Hue in consequence of the antagonism of the two parties. It is probable that the preservation of peace will be undertaken by the French commander, and that the capital will be occupied by a strong garrison of French troops. TSE TONQUIN WAR CREDIT.
