The Christian Brothers’ Dehool broke up for the holiday.* ibis morning. Bclore the prizes were distributed a programme of voeal selections, recitations, scenes, etc,, v/u>, -;onc through in a very creditable .Did some excellent specimens of wntii p and mapping were shown to the vikiu-rs. The Bishop's scholarship was won by John Hally, who gained the high percentage of 94?. Arch. Sullivan was second with 94.1, J. O’Connor third with 90£, Fred. Walker 1 fourth with 89, and Francis Hally fifth with 88 5-Gtbs. The percentages gained by these scholars last year were 833, 774, 78, 764, and 90| respectively. After handing over the prizes, Bishop Moran referred in high tenui-i of commendation to the steady improvement pl)9Wh ih the Work of the scholars.
