TO THE EDITOR. Sir, —The suggestion set forth in "An Old Actor's " letter, which appeared in your issue last evening, contains, I think, very good advice to our resident </e/a«-theatricals of Dunediu. lam not of the theatrical profession myself, but I like to see a decent and comprehensive play. If Mr Mack Alexander and others of amateur celebrity would help to forward this project, the citizens of Dunedin might be treated to performances of an exceptionally good (for amateurs) sort; and they would, I feel sure, be proud of and would appreciate our local talent. Reiterating "An Old Actor's" wish that others of your readers will take up this theme—lam, etc., A Well-wisher. Dunedin, December 6.
