At length William Stephen, master of the Lcelia, fired off a rifle towards Martin, whogot into a boat, and was pursuing Stephen, whom he had thrown overboard, but who had regained the deck. Whether the shot took effect does not transpire, bat Martin fell off the boat and Bank. Hiß body was not recovered.. The Zealandia arrived at San Francisco on the 10th inst., nineteen days from Auckland.
