A spot of considerable size appeared on the Sun in April.' On tho 17th it was near the middle of the disc, on the south side of the Sun’s equator, and it disappeared at the westem.limb on the 24th, and may be expected again at the eastern limb on or about the Bth of May, should it continue till then.
