Mails close at the Chief Post Office, Dunedin (subject to necessary alterations), as under Tlkmoat, Kbiihuakv I. Timaru.—Per Beautiful Star, at 1.50 p.m. hate letters, guard’s van. Port Chalmers train, 2.30 p.m. Northern Porta of New Zealand—Per Arawata, at 1.50 p.m. Late letters, guard’s van, Port Chalmers train, 2.30 p.m. Wednesday, February 5. Australian Colonies, via Hobart Town and Southland.—Per Tararua, at 1.50 p.m. Late tetters, guard's van, Port Chalmers train, at 2.30 p.m. A travelling post office has been attached to the Southern Express Train, and late letters for any of the post offices on the main line and branches can be posted in the mall van, provided they are prepaid with an additional single rate of postage’ as a late fee.
