Malls close at the Chief Post Office, Dunedin (subject to necessary alterations), as under : This Day (Saturday), Jakuary 4. Southland—Per Wanganul, at 6.20 p.m. Late letters, guards' van, Port Chalmers train, 7 p.m. Timuru.—Per Maori, at 6.20 p. m. Tpksday; January 7. Northern Porta of New Zealand.—Per Ladybird, at 11.40 v.ra. Late letters, guards' van, Port Chalmers train, 12.20 p.m. Thursday, January 9. Southland and Australian Colonies.—Per Rotorua, at 1.50fp.m. Late letters, guard's van, Port Chalmers train, at 2.80 p.m. Chatham Islands, via Lyttelton, on the 11th inst, at 0 a.m. On and after the 4th instant the business of the Albany street branch Post Office will be conducted in the new premises at the junction of Great King and Albany streets.
