At Gilligan's sale yesterday Danebury was sold to R. Vallance, for 400 guineas; to T. Walker of Wanganui, for 475; Mufti, to R. Mason, for 425; Fiction, to P. Butler, for 250; Lady of the Lake, to J. Walker, for 95 ; Songster, to J. Black of Napier, for 275 ; Tavelinwas passed in at 775 ; Atalanta passed in at 125; a yearling filly by Anteros —Atalanta at 50. Of Ray's team Lady Ellen was sold to F. W. Delamain for 130 guineas; Insolvent was passed in at 275; Sinking Fund at 175; Mireille at 175. Templeton and Maritana were not offered.
