Mr Skene repoits no willing industrious man or woman nei d now complain—plenty of work and good pay. All are now needed for harvest; large contracts ••■ust let the men nwnytothe harvester pay more for them. Town work is active in almost every department. Couples are in good demand. As to female seirants, there is no satisfying the demand. Dairy people are well employed. Town bred men for shove, &s., are more asked for, but poorly paid.
