The Pev, H. Jacobs, of Christchurch, has forwarder! the following singular letter to the Lytto'tm T lines, sent to him, bethinks, by an impostor:—“ Christchurch, October 24, 1835. To the Itev. H. Jacobs. Reverend Sir—l, a child of God, want £2O. If so you oblige me, please send your cheque for the amount by return of post, either affirmatively or negatively. You must by no means try and find out who sent this, but make it a matter of earnest prayer, Yosr immediate reply will oblige. Address ~Post Office, Christchurch.”
