THIS DAT. (Before the Hon. A. C. Strode, R.M.) DRUNKENNESS. Mary Moore, charged with this offence, was fined 20s and costs, or the usual alternative. NUISANCES. William O. Ball (as Trustee in the Estate of Henry Nathan) was charged by the Inspector of Nuisances with allowing a nuisance to exist on the premises under his charge situate in Staiford street. This charge fell through, a.s the Magistrate held that according to the present state of tlie law, persons in. cliarge oil premises were not liable.
Richard "VV. Sheppard, charged with allowing a nuisance to exist on his premises in Stuartstreet, was lined 10s and costs.
