The first production of the season will be that of the popular and celebrated English Artiste, MISS EDITH PALMERSTON, Assisted by MR W. ALEXANDER, Who will have the honor of appearing for a limited period in her Musical, Semi-comic, and Protean Entertainment, entitled > HOUSEHOLD SKETCHES OF LIFE, MANNERS, & ECCENTRICITIES, As given by her with unqualified success upwards of 500 nights in London, Liverpool, " Brighton, and the principal cities in England, also for 50 consecutive nights at the Royal Polytechnic Hall, Melbourne. The Lessee has initiated many improvements in the Theatre conducive to the comfort and convenience of the public. The entrance to the Pit and Stalls has been enlarged. A Private Vestibule for the use of visitors to the Dress Circle will be opened, and every attention will be directed to render the Theatre approachable to the most, fastidious.
