Edwards), 1; 1-1 Implacable, scr (Hooper), 2; 6-6 County Clare, scr (M. |Holmes), 3. Scr.: Captain Kinder, Lodestone, Paul Defiant, Renown's Pride, Lady Ngaio. Half a length; 25 lengths. Time, 4.32 4-5. Ashburton Cup, £1500; 4.22 class; 2 miles.—4-4 Happy Man, scr (King), 1; 2-2 Shadow Maid, 12 (Devine), 2; 3-3 Haughty, 60 (Hooper) 3. All started Half a length each way.
