ANOTHER QUISLING DEAD

Gustav Simon, the gauleiter of Luxemburg during the Nazi occupation, committed suicide after his arrest in the British zone in Germany. He hanged himself with a rope made from padding' pulled from a mattress in his cell.
During the occupation Simon precipitated widespread strikes throughout Luxemburg by conscripting men to fight for Germany
