RENEWED CRISIS
POSSIBLE IN PERSIA
MINISTER'S RESIGNATION
LONDON, December 21. There are reports of a possible crisis in Persia following the resignation of the Minister of the Interior. A Teheran broadcast announced his resignation yesterday, but newspaper statements today deny this.
The Minister said he was given a letter yesterday by the Prime Minister telling him he had been appointed governor of a north-west province. He has refused to accept this appointment.
Five Teheran newspapers were suppressed today. A correspondent says that changes are likely in the Ministries of War and Finance. ____«_».
