More than 2,000,0001b of foreign wool was auctioned in two hours by the Office of Surplus Property of the Reconstruction Finance Corporation. Current shortages in the finer grades was reflected in heavy bidding for these types, and 546,5261b ,of greasy New Zealand sold at an average of 9^cents above the upset price and 425,208 lb of scoured New Zealand sold at an average of 13 cents above upset price.
