INDIAN MERCHANTS' REQUEST

The Indian Merchants' Chamber of Commerce has cabled the British Government urging that the signing of the Bretton Woods Agreement by India should be postponed on the ground that a measure of such importance should be left for a decision, in due course, by the newly-constructed Central Legislature.
