HOME AND HOSPITAL RENOVATED
Satisfaction that the additions and renovations to both buildings had been completed, thus improving the comfort and efficiency of both the hospital and the home, was expressed at the recent meeting of the Alexandra 'Home committee. Mrs. E. O. Blamires presided, and the month's report was read by Miss Burdett, matron superintendent. A report was also received from Miss Hunt, matron of the girls' It was recorded that the committee had extended grateful thanks to all those who had given their time to lecturing the girls on a series of interesting subjects. Appreciation was also expressed to donors who had provided gifts for the girls' Christmas cheer fund,
