PRISON FOR BIGAMY
Commenting that the case was a bad one, the Chief Justice (Sir Michael Myers) today sentenced Matthew Cuthbert, 49, miner, to 15 months' imprisonment with hard labour for bigamy. The offence was committed in the Nelson district. His Honour said that Dilation", as had been suggested by counsel, Mr. D. Perry, could not be thought of in the circumstances.
