DISABLED CHILDREN GUESTS
Children who are medically unfit to attend public schools and who are not able to enjoy to the full the good things of .life were the guests of the Parents' Association at the Correspondence School at a Christmas party held recently in the Kilbirnie Kinema. Spotlights played upon a heavilyladen Christinas tree, and paper hats and favours were distributed to the children, who spent a happy afternoon watching coloured cartoons and a varied entertainment.
After Mr,. Richardson, manager of the theatre, had welcomed pupils, parents^ and teachers, Mrs. Corr.igan, president of the Parents' Association, thanked all who had contributed to the success of the: party. Dr. Butchers, head of the Correspondence School, on behalf of the pupils and teachers, thanked the Parents' Association for organising such a wonderful ' entertainment. Gifts from Father Christmas-! store, ice cream, soft drinks, bottled milk, and sweets were enjoyed by the children. The Parents' Association wishes to thank all firms and clubs who made donations of food and funds, provided transport, and assisted in many other ways.
