PORT STATISTICS
The shipping and cargo statistics for the Port of Wellington for the two months ended November 30, 1945, presented to the Harbour Board last evening, showed decreases in both shipping arrivals and cargo handled as compared with the same period last year. The net tonnage of trading vessels arriving was 391,568 tons, as compared with 413.790 tons, a decrease ot 22,222 tons. The manifest tonnage of cargo decreased from 339,484 tons to 275,397 tons, or by 64,087 tons.
