POSTPONEMENT ASKED
U.S. DELEGATES DELAYED
LONDON, December 18. The United States Government has asked for a further postponement of the first General Assembly of the United Nations, which was due to meet in London on January 10.
The United States delegate explained that members of the United States and other American delegations had arranged to leave New York on January 2 by the Queen Mary, but her departure had been put off until January 7.
