The fifty-third performance of Handel's famous oratorio "The Hessian," by the Royal Wellington Choral Union will take place in the JCown Hall on Saturday, December 15, under the baton of Mr. Stanley Oliver, with a chorus ijind orchestra of 300 performers and a strong jc&st of principals. "The Messiah" is the grandest oratorio ever written. It is probiaT)ly the most remarkable evidence of pure inspiration, for nothing else can account for •fee production of such a majestic work in so ihort a period of time.
