PRICE FIXED TILL JUNE
(Special P.A. Correspondent.) , LONDON, November 28. It is officially announced that the general level of current ex-store selling prices for wool in Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa will remain unchanged till June 30, 1946. This announcement will give great satisfaction to the Bradford trade, "'or it will encourage extended British commercial buying in all Dominion markets. It will enable British and | other buyers to operate in Dominion markets with complete confidence, as it guarantees wool prices tor seven months ahead. No market will be expected to benefit more than New Zealand.
It is also announced that Sir Stafford Cripps will confer with wool and wool-textile leaders in Bradford on post-war reorganisation. He is expected to urge the establishment of a tripartite working payty for the industry comprising representatives of emplp3 rers and employees, with certain independent members, to investigate and report on methods for increasing the efficiency of the industry. Similar bodies have been established for other United Kingdom industries.
