MAN CAUGHT IN SHOP
Evidence was given in the Magistrate's Court today when John Francis Plunkett. labourer, 29. appeared on a charge of breaking and entering a shop in Main Road. Johnsonville. that on the night of November 20 the owner of the shop and a constable found the accused in a sioreroom. The locks on the doors leading into the shop and the storeroom were broken and the accused was found with -a mattock in his hand. In a statement he subsequently made to the police, the accused admitted breaking in with the intention of stealing money. The accused pleaded guilty to the charge and was committed to the Supreme Court for sentence b.y Mr. J. L. Stout, S.M.
