WOMEN CYCLISTS HURT

O.C. PALMERSTON N., This Day. Two young women, both horticultural students at Massey Agricultural College, were seriously injured when the cycles they were riding were involved in a collision with a motor vehicle in Napier Road on Tuesday evening. They were Miss Barbara Jervis, of Marine Parade, Eastbourne, concussion and a fractured left arm, and Miss Daphne Goodyear, of Athenree, near Tauranga, concussion and abrasions. _^

The Wellington Lawn Tennis Association's third grade inter-club match between * Crawford Hill and Te Rama was won by Crawford Hill by 12 matches to 4, not 9-7 as previously reported.
