MOTORIST FINED £15
Arthur Basil Kennedy, a member of the R.N.Z.A.F.. was fined £15 and had his driving licence cancelled for 12 months by Mr. J. L. Stout, S.M., in the Magistrate's Court yesterday after Kennedy had pleaded guilty to a charge of intoxication while in charge of a car.
Sub-Inspector J. Abel stated that a constable had seen the accused driving erratically in Lambton Quay about 11.10 p.m. yesterday. The constable had followed the car in a taxi, and when the accused was stopped in Featherston Street'he was found to be intoxicated.
