SAFE-BLOWERS AGAIN
PALMERSTON N. BURGLARY P.A. PALMEkSTON N., This Day. Another safe-blowing incident oscurred last night when the premises of Harrisons, Ltd., seedmen, in the centre of the city, were entered by burglars who used explosives to open the safe in a small office near the main frontage. A sum of money, the amount of which is not known, was taken.
This is the second occasion these premises have been entered. The first time the burglars got nothing for their pains Dawick's Electrical Services, at the rear of Harrisons, was also entered last night, and a cashbox, the contents of which are estimated at thirteen shillings, was stolen. The frequency of burglaries in the city is causing concern to business men who have pressed on the City Council ?.nd the Police Department the necessity for more patrolling and also the continuation of street lighting throughout the night,
