BIG WHALER'S MISSION
LONDON, October 28,
Britain's new 14,000-ton whaling ship, the Southern Venturer, is ready to start on the first stage of the voyage to the • Antarctic, where she will open the whaling season next month. She is a depot ship, and it is expected that by next spring she will have dealt with 1200 carcasses.
