JEWISH PROPERTY
USE FOR REPARATIONS
NEW YORK, October 1
Mr. A. L. Kubowitski, secretarygeneral of the World Jewish Congress, returning after a two months' inspection trip of Europe, said that Britain and America should prevent Germany from using expropriated Jewish property for paying reparations. The 6,000,000 Jews who had been killed left millions of pounds' worth of property, and German law provides that where there are no heirs the property reverts to the State.
