TABLE TENNIS
Tlie following table tennis players have been selected by Mr. A. S. Meachen to represent Wellington against Hutt Valley on Thursday evening in the annual match for tlie Croudis Shield (at present held by Wellington) : —
Men: E. Boniface, L. Howe, D. L. Hurdloy, and R. Gray. Women: Misses .1. Strange, D. Croxton, Mrs. M, Haynes and Miss M. Wareham. Miss M. Tracey, New Zealand women's singles champion, was unavailable. The Hutt Valley team is :—Men : L. Corbett, K. Hughes, S. Henderson and H. Chapman. Emergency: ,T. Wall. Women: Misses B. Strang, E. McNeill, M. Guthrie and Mrs. P. Rasmussen. The match will be played at the Black and White Cab's Social Club rooms, Arthur -Street, commencing at 7 o'clock.
