GENERAL'S BROADCAST
LONDON, September 4. On the seventy-fifth anniversary of the Third Republic, General de Gaulle tonight broadcast to the people of France. He declared that he was convinced that an immense majority of voters would answer "yet" to the questions in the referendum at the election next month.
By doing so, they would make it clear that they wanted a new system of Government, which would not be subject to continual crises. Earlier in the day, M. Leon Blum had a long talk with General de Gaulle. M. Blum is leaving Paris tonight for . London. Reports from France say he and General de Gaulle discussed relations between France and Britain.
