I LONDON, Sept. 3. New Delhi radio disclosed that of the • I 000,000 troops of the South-east Asia Command on June 1, 700,000 were from the Indian Army. One million Indian I troops had been engaged fighting the Japanese in Burma and the enemy overseas, including the Germans and Members of the Indian Army had won 20 of the 27 Victoria Crosses that had been awarded.
