Help for Mothers.
The monthly meeting of the Mothers' Help Committee was held recently at the home of Mrs. V. L. Palmer, Karori. Mrs. G. W. Guthrie presided: It was stated that the committee would welcome more helpers as assistance for mothers is so urgently needed. Donations had been received from Lady Myers, Mrs. C. M. Turrell, Mrs. J. Marshall, Miss S. Nathan, the Department of Internal Affairs, and the T. G. Macarthy Trust.
