NAVAL FROG-MEN
WORK ON FRENCH COAST
LONDON, September 2. British! naval swimmers wearing skin-tight diving suits and frog-like attachments on their feet blew up 3000 under-water obstacles lining the Atlantic wall in five hours before D Day, says the "Sunday Express." The existence of this special force dates back to the early days of the war long before the appearance of the German "frog-men" who tried to blow up the Nijmegen bridge, but their use was kept secret because they were assigned to tackle obstructions around the coast of Japan.
