KONG
Rec. 1.30 p.m. KANDY, September 2. Despite malnutrition, morale is high among the prisoners of war and internees at Hong Kong. A British naval officer who has been there said that the Japanese had been prevented from taking food and other stocks from the city and were being handled rather roughly by the Chinese section of the population.
